With Mynewsdesk’s new Facebook Channel, Plus and Premium clients can publish press material directly on their Facebook Page’s wall.
The ability to add a separate newsroom tab on a Facebook Page was just the start. Mynewsdesk now makes it possible for companies to upload any press information on their actual wall, like a status update, using the Facebook Channel.
The channel works in the same manner as previously launched channels, like the Twitter upload. All press material you publish on Mynewsdesk – press releases, news updates, images, and videos – can be simultaneously uploaded to various different channels.
And now your Facebook Page can be added to that list.
By selecting the Facebook Channel when publishing press information in your social media newsroom, you can upload the specific items or updates to your Facebook Page’s wall. All this material can be “like”, commented, and shared just like regular status updates on your wall.
Here’s how it’s done:
- Log in to Mynewdesk.
- Click on Channels in the left-hand navigation column.
- Scroll down to the Social Media section and select the Facebook Channel.
- Click activate.
- Click the login button.
- Click “allow”.
- Choose which Facebook Pages you want to publish to.
- The channel is now activated.
