Customize your homepage’s newsroom with a few clicks

Today Mynewsdesk launched the possibility for our customers to customize and take full control of their website’s social media newsroom.

This new feature, the Hosted Newsroom, allows you to create a customized social media newsroom on your homepage without having to get a programmer or webmaster involved.

Recent surveys indicate that journalists use companies’ online newsrooms as their main source for corporate information or story ideas. This is great news for PR communicators, but it also often requires updating press information in two places.

Save time, cut cost
With our new Hosted Newsroom, we allow communicators to keep the valuable features and functions of a Mynewsdesk newsroom, while personalizing its look-and-feel without incurring the high costs usually associated with creating a fully customized newsroom.

How does it work?
Essentially, all of the work, including set-up, publishing, and updating, is done on Mynewsdesk. For example, as you publish a news release, all its content is automatically mirrored on your homepage’s newsroom. This guarantees that journalists get updated information directly from the source, wherever they search. And you only have to publish the information once.

Is it hard to learn?
The implementation is very user-friendly, as we have kept the process as straightforward as possible. As you log in on Mynewsdesk.com, you will find a simple design interface where you can choose the color schemes, fonts, and logos reflective of your own brand, as well as a unique domain name for the webpage.

Please review tutorial below and see how it all works.

The Hosted Media Newsroom is included in our Premium offer. For more information, contact us at sales@mynewsdesk.com or Twitter @mynewsdesk.
