Yesterday, at InternetWorld’s yearly competition for the Top 100 Best Swedish Websites, we were ranked 56th in a list of some truly amazing websites. Despite a drop of 16 places from last year, being named in the Top 100 in Sweden is a big achievement for us and we are proud to be listed. And considering we’ve just launched a re-design of the website, we hope we’ll place a bit higher next year.
However, today there is even more reason to celebrate. InternetWorld asked Sökmotorkonsult.se to investigate and analyze which of the Top 100 websites were best in terms of being search engine optimized (SEO).
Sökmotorkonsult.se (which is run by key people at Pineberry, Sweden’s premier SEO agency) took on the task of creating a list of the Top 10 Best SEO Websites in Sweden.

Sökmotorkonsult.se, headed by Magnus Bråth, Kristofer Hilarius, and Michael Wahlgren, reviewed, dissected, and scrutinized each of InternetWorld’s Top 100 websites from an SEO perspective, using the following 4 criteria to determine the Top 10 and eventual winner:
- Visibility in search results
- How the search engine’s potential is applied
- Content and structure of the website
- In-links to the website
